Waiting our New Arrival

Miracles happen every day.

As I await the birth of my little man, I cannot stop thinking about our entire journey together.  I have been pregnant for 12 out of the past 15 months. I have been on an emotional roller coaster.  I feel truly blessed to bring this sweet little angel to this earth.

This pregnancy has had many trials.  There were several times where I needed to be placed on bed rest due to blood clots around the uterus Continue reading

Self Care Can Heal a Broken Heart

Tender Mercies

First off, I am overwhelmed by the amount of love and support that I have received over this past week.   My heart is so full of gratitude to wake up each morning with a kind word in my inbox, or a card in the mail, and even beautiful flowers that I received since I miscarried my baby last week.  I have the best friends and family, and truly grateful for all of them and also, the new friends that I am making along the way.

I will be honest with you, this week has been emotionally tough!!  Just because I went through the physical loss last week, doesn’t mean I am emotionally ready to face my day with full force.  In fact, I have given myself permission to Continue reading

Our Guardian Angel: My Story of Miscarrying our Little One

Guardian Angel

“May you alway have an Angel to watch over you.” ~ Willow Tree, Susan Lordi

This past week my husband and I have experienced an array of emotions as we saw our little one’s lifeless body on an ultrasound.  Let’s just say that this past week’s events is every expecting parent’s worst nightmare.  I am writing this article to help and support others who have lost a little one during pregnancy. I now understand why women do not talk about their miscarriages, because it is hard and you are thinking to yourself is this really happening to me.  You relive the experience over and over in your mind and it is difficult to grasp the fact that you truly did miscarried your Continue reading

Be the Change…

You must be the change you wish to see in the world

This past week I attend Be the Change Event in Vegas. I was reminded again how powerful each of us are on this earth. God has blessed us with our own unique special talents and gifts. We were blessed with these gifts to serve are loved ones, or even something way bigger beyond ourselves. But the key is we need to be able to step up and use those gifts. It breaks my heart when I see an incredible woman who doesn’t believe in herself, nor believes she doesn’t make a difference within her world.  I just want to remind you that you do make a difference, you are of value, and you are able to make great change with others within your world. So, I challenge you today to allow those gifts to be seen and share them with your loved ones.

Life is so precious…

These last couple of weeks my family and I have been going through my fathers belongings. We have had a lot of laughs and lot of tears.  Here is a photo my brother sent to me.  My dad would always caring a handkerchief and some cough drops in his coat pockets.  This is a small rememberof his sweet behavior.

You are Meant for Greatness

You are meant for greatness

The beauty of life is it challenges us to be more, to become more, and to live more!   Do you believe this?   When you are in the thick of a trial and you can’t see the light at the end of the tunnel; it is easy to throw in the towel and pull out the victim card.  It is extremely frustrating and tiring.  Many times you are thinking, “When will I get Continue reading
